Acts 2 tells us when the Spirit first came upon Christ’s followers that there was a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house. For us it was a silent and soft breeze as we prayed for protection and placed ourselves under Christ’s authority.

When life get difficult it easy to question what we are doing and what we believe, especially what we believe about God. There is so much liberation in voicing your struggle, doubts and questions because it is the starting place of humility and hope!

There is something powerful that happens in our lives when we give God permission to Search our hearts and Lead our thinking and our steps. Much like a lighthouse guides boats carefully, so does the Spirit of God when we allow ourselves to be led by their light!

When was the last time you sat with your soul and asked it questions like you would a friend or even a stranger you’d like to know better? There’s incredible healing and discovery in making time and space for this kind of dialogue.

Sometimes creativity begins with a prayer to reclaim it!

In the mundane and routine moments of life, when we find ourselves quieted and alone with out thoughts, those moments can be the most powerful ones for honesty and prayer.
