Why is it that the Church is quick to focus on guilt and condemnation as starting point for sharing the gospel? If we are using fear and condemnation as a launching point for the Good News we’ve missed it.

We’ve all been told things that we believe as cold stone fact. Don’t leave the milk out. Keep the meat frozen until you cook it. Some truths we believe are in fact only half truths. Modern conventional wisdom has lost a hold on reality sometimes and has pulled the wool over our eyes in an attempt to keep everyone safe at best and conformed to standardized living whether intended or not.
